I can't remember a single assault rifle being a mainstay weapon in all the years of playing. This goes back to before there were even exotic weapons.

Seems like the weapon's damage has increased this time. Not as much as some of the past events but better than the usual (with Defroster). Ah, ha. So that is why the site kept going dead on me this morning. I figured I was banned for being a bad boy.

The weapon did take down the Chapter 1 choppers in short order with no upgrades completed. However, at the end of the event it is unlikely to dethrone anybody's favorite.
