Another single round event, weapons seems a bit meh so playing it out just for the heck of it...

And upgrade requirements are a bit on the heavy side, might not bother too much about this one.

The weapon has some nice attributes but not enough hit power to effectively use them. As already pointed out, the upgrade requirements are a bit much.

It is an easy play with the attributes, so I'll just play the event with internally earned Supreme Packs and not spend stored resources. If the weapon is not won, the loss of it will be insignificant.

Well this one looks like the standard 'Single Stage Event'.
You will need at least 99 Chests (normally Around 105 -> 110) and complete 10 Weapon Upgrades.

Turns out it wasn't worth the effort, but at least it didn't cost me anything this time, struggles with a grey drone.

Getting used to these Exotic events just being entertainment. Oh, wait, that IS what they are.

I recall the "good ol' days" when we all looked forward to getting a new weapon. Then the "Exotic" weapons were introduced and GL need to water them down to stunt the arms race. There hasn't really been a useful new weapon for a couple of years, IMO. Defroster is still in use by quite a few players.

I can't remember the last time I changed gear or weapon, there just no better than my current.

I think they are just trying to get New Players in. I remember back when 3 stage events happened 3-5 times a year and those weapons were Game Changers. Now they are just POS that New Players think will give them a 'Leg Up.
GL have lost the plot, maybe, by giving base defense squaddies without countering with a weapon that can over come without the use of Boosts. Therein lies the strategy of GL. If you want to progress Spend Spend and then Spend some more.

Always has been a cash grab game, so just the norm as far as GameLoft is concerned.
