Here we go again.

Stage 1 of 3, weapon exotic sniper and it has some good attributes, it feels like a good start as long as it doesn't get held back on in later stages.

This is now a pattern with GL. That is, weapons with good attributes but no power to use them effectively. Even the stage 3 weapon is pitifully underpowered. But maybe, just maybe, the final attributes will balance the weapon out to be a base-killer. That is what keeps us suckers playing this enthusiasm-sucking game.

A well, it is a choice I keep saying but not believing.

After finally getting the game to stay open after the forced update - weapon has some attribute tweaks but still a long way to go.

Stage 2 done and gear and weapon not terrible at this stage, bet GameLoft can still knacker it.

The VX-Phantom armor suit may be a keeper for sniper weapon use. Tried it with Defroster and it did quite well. The perks of the suit give a bit more damage than Furmidable.

Now to see how the Stage 3 weapon attributes shake out. If major improvements are shown, then there might be a change in my base=killer set.

Stage 3 here we go, attributes buffed a bit and seems still promising, but as we know it ain't over till it's over...

Stage three weapon is missing Symbiosis which is crucial to killing strong bases with barrage as you know. Everlasting ammo would have been nice. Seek & Destroy would have sealed the deal.

Do I want it all? Oh, yeah.

This one is going to be a Closet Warmer, It takes 1.5s to fully charge but Assassins move in 1s and without Symbiosis to recharge the weapon/armor abilities it just won't work on a higher level base.

GL may have provided a solution, at least partially, to the Assassin problem. If they are zipping around the room then they can be slowed down with Chronoboost. That slo-mo expires after a while so late arriving Assassins are a problem. Hence the need for Symbiosis.

If the Assassins are in your face it seems to take a while for them to kill you. The weapon charge should work then and, with the headshot/sniper boost of the VX-Phantom armor, it should be a one-shot kill.

But, then, I haven't tried any of this in an actual PVP setting. Just conjecture.

I don't know why GL are so adamant about not letting players upgrade Artifact parts to Collector's parts during an event or secondly, let players in Clans request Collector's parts from Clan members. I know the second option won't help Lone Wolves but hey it would be an option.

Well finished and got the weapon, not the worst but it'll need a strategy to be successful on high end bases.
