Last post on the Big Head subject.
Equipped one of my load-out spots with the event's avatar and weapon. Tried it on my base and in the event. Nope, nope. Same problem...some Big Heads, some not. End of stressing about it. Just roll with the GL punches.

Agreed, it's just not powerful enough to be of any use for anyone bar new players.
Turns out I wasn't just old and grumpy - I was right to be pissed right off!

Not the worst offering, but for me the big head didn't work and there is a lot of help required to do all the upgrades.

I tend to think that an Assault style Weapon is never going to cut it.
If you chase an Assault it is only for the Squaddies', and in this case they were not that great and the Weapon turned out, as usual, a POS.
But as they say "Squaddies are all in the eye of the beholder'.

Agree with both views.
Decker: It took me 3000 rubies and a couple of dozen Supreme Packs to finish. There were quite a few left over parts because the mags and electronics were consistently (and cleverly by GL) low. The other parts were coming in droves. GL found another way to fleece players.
Kiwi: in my many years of playing there has never been an Assault Weapon that was worth using regularly. Same with RPG and all other styles without also the use of some sort of enhancement. Even now with a sniper rifle, the pendulum has swung toward defense and I have to skip stronger bases or face certain defeat even with boosts. It is time for a balancing weapon to be offered but GL keeps the players guessing so every event has to be played for fear of missing out.
