It appears that WU has undergone a name change to "Red Ops". The new demon is just a remake of Big Tuma (the guy in the ocean with huts in the foreground). GL wasn't creative enough to change the demon's name.
At any rate, this is one of the few WU (oops...Red Ops) that work with normal weapons. With the Personal Rewards being decent, it might be worth playing. I'm going to give it a go.

Re: Warlord Undivided
Big mistake trying to advance in this "new" Red Ops event. The Personal Rewards have been absurdly inflated. Getting to the 15* SM will take constant attention to the event and several ruby (or cash!) purchases of event energy. No thanks.

Re: Warlord Undivided
It used to be worth it until GL boosted the reward requirements to absurd levels. To get the 15* SM in Personal Reward it requires 180 trillion points! I think it was 35t before, or so. Even playing all day. with boosts and a Commander, I only managed 25t points. Absurd. But, OTOH, I've spent no money and I am using a regular load out.
GL must want me to spend real money for equipment. Not happening.

To belabor the point:
If each play nets 20M credits then that is .02T credits. 180T credits will require 9000 plays to win the 15* SM.
If using an infinite slo-mo (from the Shard event), around 60M credits (3X) can be gained. Not surprisingly, it would take 3000 plays for the 15* reward. This strategy takes about 7 minute to complete one play. The enemies from the huts run out with about 15 seconds left.
This observation is using Defroster/Furmidable load-out. A different combo will give different results, of course. The latest update notes notified us of the increased difficulty of WU but this is a bit much.

Didn't notice those increases, I went on the multi damage hits, but wow, it's just not worth playing more than one round anymore...
