Stage 5 lvl 1, got taken out by an elite, emptied a mag and a half and still didn't take it down. Powerless weapon won't be useful for anything, even finishing the event.

Might have been a bug. I'm still on Stage 1/4, just building up parts and upgrades. Will hit the next levels all at once...maybe tomorrow.

Suggestion for the short term: Equip an avatar with a rocket perk. It will be active in the event even though it may not match perfectly. The rockets should do the job. You probably already knew that.

When the event first started, I thought the goons were armored. It took headshots for a kill with the non-upgraded weapon. It was that weak.

I see what you mean. It seems that a random sniper, RPG, or elite suddenly is armored. It takes multiple shots to take it out. The assaults haven't been a problem after encountering the same thing in Chapter 1 when I thought the event had all armored goons.

The rockets from an avatar having that perk seem to work as expected. Slo-mo might work, also, but I've not tried it. Armor piercing bullets is another possibility not tried.

I have just been aiming either a Headshot or at the legs. Seems to work well.

Finished the event, thankfully without using any consumables, and hate it.

This must be one of the worst weapons in a long time, not accurate, low powered and wanders, really bad event reward...
