I even had to kick off a 7 day deputy (can't remember where that came from) so even though I'm going to have numerous parts 'stolen' from me it will prove one way or another whether running a deputy when no exotic event is running still collects parts.

One of the reasons the forums are important is it allows a 'vent' Corp, the forge seems to have been taken away unless you pay for it, again showing GameLofts sheer greed, silence is also GameLofts currency of choice, and as for a new region...

But all this is mute as I can't even get the game to finish loading today

Well GameLoft managed to break the game before the event finished so I have no doubt a load of players only needing a last few parts missed out.

But on the bright side tried it again today with event gear and it's seriously lacking with the DPM figure of 224.71b (compared to Defroster at 532.41b) it should have been able to do some damage to my base, but it doesn't
