Makes sense. But how to activate is the question now. Shooting them has no effect. Maybe another key on the keyboard would do it. Experiment time.

It will add 3 sec to your time although it says 4 sec, you usually get 5-6 per play

So...the player has to do nothing. Just the appearance of the icon adds the time? Interesting.

Is there anything that stimulate the icon's appearance? Something like shooting the fireballs that the goon launches.

Maybe I'm just obsessing on this issue. Just a GL Easter Egg?

Nope, you have to make a hit it with a 'shot', it will stay for about 1-3 secs and if you don't hit it you have to watch for the next one remembering you only get a max of 6. It realy helps if you are using 'Slow Mo's'

Forgot to add that they normally appear with about 33-32 sec's remaining

Too tough for my tastes this time. Can't even reach the first Personal Reward after the first go-round. Maybe later.

Have you thoufgt of using Rubies to buy Packs to get a Gear/Weapon Combo?? It is what I did and can can now finish most WU Rounds. You just have to make sure you don't double up on the same Weapon Attributes without a gain.

Thanks for the tip. With all the different requirements (water, fire, etc., etc.), it seems that there would be a major expenditure of resources to cover all the possibilities. It is worth another look, however.

I didn't even notice this round till now, yep it's that good, but again nothing special.
