Here we go again, looks like it 'might' be worth going for this time, but as usual we won't know until it's over...

First upgrades quite low, hopefully that will keep going right through (although I doubt it).

GL lures players in with those low updates in Stages 1 and 2. Then when they have you hooked on the event the hammer comes down and upgrades become insanely costly. At that time the old FOMO comes into play.

At least that has been my experience.

Hope you are correct about the event being worth it. I'll bite based on your recommendation. Then I can blame it all on you if it doesn't work out!!!!!

I think the Weapon is already showing that it is a POS, so unless you want to chase the SM's, this is once again a waste of time.

Agreed, but as usual we don't know what the stage 3 will be like, it's the usual treat players like mushrooms approach...

After a couple of deputies ran you can clearly see the bias in parts yet again...

Weapon fully upgraded by running a deputy a day, not impressive in any way so far.

I've noticed it has a 'stutter' and the travel time for the rounds is sloooowwww...

It's missing any 'good' affinities, hopefully that along with other drawbacks will get addressed before the end.

The stage 1 gun in it's full glory (not).

As shown by its ineptitude in killing helicopters. Even goons are hard to kill without head shots. Stage 2 better show some better abilities.

Looking ahead at the armor in the 3-stage event shows that a head shot with the weapon will add a total of 200%+ to the shot value.

Now, if the Stage 3 weapon has some interesting affinities (all shots are head shots like the old voodoo doll) it might be useful. Other useful affinities would be helpful of course.

Here we go stage 2, affinities +50% headshot, +75% PvP, but as we know math isn't GameLofts strong suit so they may well not combine to be 125% more headshot damage in PvP...

Upgrade requirements seem okay to start but increase as before, so this stage will need way more than stage 1, so we can assume stage 3 will be even worse.

The Stage 2 weapon does much better against helicopters so that is hopeful and an idicator of more "oomph". The Stage 3 weapon has an even higher rating. Still not very hopeful that this weapon / armor will be a game changer.

If indeed the weapon's 125% head shot damage is applied along with the new suit's 200%+ head shot damage then that MAY be something of note. Hopefully the Stage 3 weapon will boost it even more. Of course, headless goons and shielded SMs will restrict head shot damage.

Infravision sure helps in these dark event stages. Too bad the weapon doesn't have piercing bullets (yet).

I've burned through one 24-hour Deputy but no stored Supreme Packs yet. That will all change soon. GL is not going to give us players any gifts as far a upgrades go.

I'm a bit surprised that it doesn't have piercing ability too.

It's a hope it will get added.

Gear and gun, tried the combo on my base and it did 'some' damage when dealing headshots.

Hopefully stage 3 will vastly improve it...

Stage 3 - weapon is looking promising, piercing rounds now included as is symbiosis.

Again it's going to be down to what happens after the event, but I'll (yet again) hold out hope that we don't get screwed over yet again!
