Well stage 1 completed and guess what, the weapon is useless!

For a Christmas event things need to improve a lot, and quick...

The weapon could be saved by adding Symbiosis, a new feature that penetrates all shields, unlimited ammo (hate the slow reload time), auto-seeking bullets, and slo-mo. Add to that 1000% increase in PVP damage, headshot damage, and drone damage. Plus, a conglomeration of all other attributes of every weapon ever produced.

Then I'd be satisfied with this hunk-of-junk at Stage 3. Might even use it occasionally.

Stage 2 - nothing really changed, still pretty poor...

Being able to see the goons in Stage 2 is better than trying to pick them out of the busy background.

I ran a second 24-hour Deputy so had plenty of parts for some upgrades. That helped the helicopters go down in a reasonable time. This Stage may be less stressful than Stage 1.

Spotted that, there have been several display layout changes, don't know why, I'm more worried about what else they've changed!

I have a bad feeling about the implications of this graphic. It likely should say "Free for Now" otherwise it has no purpose. Plus, there is a new energy currency that is unexplained...at least I haven't seen green energy icon before now.

Sometime down the line it appears that the "Free" will be converted to having to use a consumable to play the event missions. It will likely be renewable over some time period but it will also be available for either real cash or rubies. This is how most other events are conducted so it will not be a surprise for the standard to appear in Exotic Events.

To be frank, I take advantage of the Exotic Missions often just to fulfill other event requirements such as Warlord and Battle Pass. GL would likely prefer that option to be curtailed.

PVP is possibly next to be converted. Simply a money/resource grab. No surprise there.

They have probably found the old code for these missions and had a rush of s;'t to brain and looking at going backwards. Remember when we played a Mission, waited 45min and then you could play again.. and if you failed you also had wait 45min before you could play. Maybe this is the new version where if you want to advance early. YOU PAY.

This would be great (sort of) if they also looked at bringing back the "Forge", if only every 3 months, so we can get rid of Unwanted Gear and Gifts.

Stage 3 weapon doesn't seem to be much to be enthusiastic about. Can't imagine using it in PVP with the stronger bases nowadays.

Tried the stage 2 with gear and it was pathetic, the stage 3 doesn't seem to have much better performance unless there's a real surprise at the end.

Some better attributes but I doubt it will be able to do much damage to a high end base...

Well stage 3 done, SM's +15% in missions so that's useful, weapon is still woeful, I did manage to take out 1 SM (eventually) by going for head shots (weapon is still very 'drifty' and wanders with each shot).

All in another disappointment.

Liken' the SMs.

There has not been a game-changing weapon since Defroster came out. Bases have become increasing stronger over that time. A new weapon with some OMMPH would be welcome.
