Bounty Cascade 3 Stage Event 12th December 2023

Exactly 1 year ago it was the same, so here we go, 3 stages, what the hell you know how it goes.

At first go the weapon seems really weak and also a bouncer, nothing much in attributes either so if this is a Christmas present it's going to have to get a whole lot better in stages 2 & 3.

After looking at the weapon, it was tempting to skip the event. There hasn't been a decent assault weapon in years. Same with explosive weapons.

The four 13* SMs may be of use in Spec Ops but without shields they are too weak in PVP bases. I guess I'll play for the SMs. However, it is about time that 14* SMs start showing up in these events.

Couldn't agree more, you'd think the Christmas event would have better...

Yep, you know it's going to be a POS when you can't take 2 choppers with one mag when you have 13 of 20 upgrades completed

Yep, it's a case of 2 mags for one chopper, doesn't get much worse.

I came here to comment on the chopper effectiveness, also. What a POS.

It is not much better with the goons. The shot spread is absurd. Maybe half the shots are hits even on high magnification and upgraded Stability. Stage 2 better see significant improvement. Stage 3 will be a "winner" hopefully otherwise this event is a weapon-waste.

Well Chapter 3 and got taken out on a chopper mission TWICE by the sniper, the scatter of rounds is unbelievable, took a full mag for the sniper!!!

Thanks for the warning. I can see how that could happen. Shooting the sniper first, before the chopper, seems the better tactic. Heaven help us in later chapters when many more kills are necessary and the targets take more hits to destroy.

My avatar has the "rockets" trait, so I just blew up the sniper. Not ashamed (but should be).

This weapon, even if altered drastically, will not have a show of taking out a 13* squadie in PvP, let alone the new 14*s.
This one could be just a complete waste of time...

My Stage 1 weapon is three upgrades from being done. However, Chapter 5/Missions 1-5 caused me to run out of time over and over. Sometimes a sniper or RPG took me out while I was shooting an assault goon. Not sure if I can finish this Stage without spending rubies or using slo-mo. Ridiculous.

Stage 2 weapon is twice as powerful as the Stage 1 weapon...that won't be enough. Stage 3 weapon is double Stage 2 (4X Stage 1) and will still be weak. The Affinities are going to have to be outstanding to make the end weapon worth anything.

Chapter 7 completed, weapon fully upgraded and still got taken out twice.

Yep, same here. I am using Crestfall as it gives SlowMo but it still gets a bit close sometimes.
