Exactly one year on here we go again, assault weapon that to be honest it's stage 1 so nothing too impressive, hopefully yet.
Turns out I wasn't just old and grumpy - I was right to be pissed right off!

With the "Big Head" attribute being forced on us, and nothing else to fight those large goon chapters at the end of the event, might have to use some stored slo-mos to make it through.
The weapon still lacks hit power behind it, so it is likely of use in this event and then done. But we will see at the end.

I must not understand Big Head, Symbiosis, or both. Or perhaps GL has a bug.
When playing Ch 1/Mission 3, three goons appear. Hit Big Head and all three are killed. Then a fourth comes out without a Big Head. Hit F-key and nothing happens. The original timer has to run out and the reset time runs out (20 seconds total) and then the key works again. It seems that Symbiosis should reset the Big Head attribute as soon as the three goons are killed.
What am I missing?

It resets after the next kill, it was a while before I figured it out too, if it was not then hitting, say, barrage should automatically reset the timer but doesn't.

Got it. Thanks for the tutorial. Just need to get to a mission that has lots of goons to try it out.
The timer does reset after each kill. I think that is what threw me off. My thought was that each emerging goon would have a Big Head as long as the timer was active...nope.

The big head doesn't continue it only hits the goons onscreen when you activate it, the timer is the cooldown timer.

I'm with GWD on this one, I think there is a bug as if the timer keeps resetting it is of no use at all.

Here is what I am finding.
>Hitting "F" on opening gives goons on screen Big Head.
>A kill resets the timer and brings out a second wave of regular head goons.
>The screen has to be cleared of ALL regular head goons while the timer keeps resetting on each kill. Hitting "F" has no effect on the second waye.
>The third wave appears and is vulnerable to the "F"/Big Head key. Phew.
Disclaimer: Who the h*** knows what is going on and why. Lot more experimenting needed. Feel free to correct as needed...pretty please.

Discord also recognizes the Big Head problem. Several posts. Here is an example:
it works the way that the first wave of enemy heads are always enlarged. the second wave is never even the perk is still active. but after that from the 3rd wave the enlargement works again meaning the heads are enlarged even the enemy appears after you activated it and keeps enlarged until the perk active. you need to have many opponents to have 3rd and 4th wave as sometimes 4-5 enemies appear at one wave. it is simply a GL bug among the many known for years. This experiment seemed to work (most of the time). Kill all the first wave goons that appear, THEN hit the F key. All goons after that will have Big Heads. That worked 3 missions except for once a single goon came out with a normal head. We ought to be used to this kind of stuff after all these years.
