Here we go again, new 3 stage event, for weapon Musket in stage 1, Arquebus in stage 2 and Matchlock in stage 3.

First thing I noticed was in the very first mission normal shots had practically no effect, only critical hits did any actual damage, this is with no upgrades carried out at all. After the first upgrade it was able to take out drones in one hit but SM's are still crit hit only, this doesn't look good at all.

Affinity is a bit poor but this is only stage 1, +100% headshot and +15% crit hit, nothing special.

Hopefully the high upgrade requirements have been fixed as I'm not sure this one again will be worth expending any packs or deputies, but as usual you never know till it's all over...

Yeah, the goons are armored. Try headshots or legshots...one shot.

The reload is absurd and the stability is awful with one stability upgrade. Headshots are tough to make.

The small magazine makes the reloads necessary way too often. If this continues through all three stages then the 11/12 SMs will be the only thing worth playing for. And even then, it depends on their affinities for Spec. Ops..

Not sure about the avatar. Without symbiosis it will be a one-shot affair if that is how it works. As you mention, wait until the end is the only choice.

Not sure if this is worth a Deputy.

It appears the goons have had their armour stolen did mission 5 and no problems with kills now.

And it's back in chapter 2, what a mess...

No point in stating when upgrades are needed as it's known you need to completely upgrade to move to the next stage anyway.

Still not sure if this ones worth any time or resources, with the forge being withdrawn from general population replacing those resources can be tough.

The shields still seem to be up in Mission 5 in my game. I missed a head shot low and the health bar went to about 10%.

I'm looking at resources as something to use freely since the end of this game is inevitable. So yesterday a Deputy was used. There are plenty of resources in my Inventory so there is no reason to hoard them any longer.

It does seem really random as far as the goons go.

I'm the same regarding resources, no point in holding onto them anymore, so far 1 x 24 hour deputy and 16 packs and I'm fully upgraded, not for much benefit I may add, but as we know the stages 1 & 2 weapons don't actually matter.

The game now feels like it's just doing things (like watching loads of ads) for stuff like parts and consumables, like there's no actual point to it anymore...

It's also obvious which parts are in shortage this time around too.

Well fully upgraded stage 1 gun is pants. Roll on stage 2!

Well now onto stage 2, first thing is that the 'snowflakes' I thought had been brought in by the 'blizzard' part of stage 1 regions name, nope it's with the bleeding weapon, is it useful NO is it annoying YES!

So far the upgrade to affinity is Marksman (+150% more headshot damage) and precision (+30% more crit hit chance), whoopee...

And for reference level 5 => 6 upgrade requirements are 36 parts

Less than 2 days to go for stage 2 and I'm finding myself having to deploy another deputy, I've already used a few packs but it won't be enough unless I really pound them, and really short on chips again.

Wish I could play. Nope, still can't sign in. If this issue is fixed on Monday then I'll have to burn quite a few Supreme Packs. However, it appears SF is pretty low on the GL priority list. (See quote on WTF thread on here. One of the mods is looking into whether it was a true quote or a hoax.)

At least Discord has given players that can't sign in a voice. They are expressing their unhappiness and getting ban warnings.

The other hot issue is the clan debacle that you (Decker) have posted about. Very angry folks...also being threatened by mods.

Discord is really dying on the vine. Just a few posts per hour. GL's experiment with Discord has resulted in dismal game communications while suffering posts from a few meaningless people that just want recognition. Sad, really.

Jeez, that is ridiculous, for your info I still have heard nothing at all from CS regarding ban, seems players are just not important anymore, just their wallets...

End of stage 2, and, as expected gear and stage 2 gun will take out a grey drone but no effect on decent level SM's, the burn affinity made no difference there either, it's just a quick flash no continued burning, didn't even take down the grey second drone.

GameLoft need to do something serious for stage 3!!!

The Stage 1 and 2 weapons do always seem quite weak. We will see if the Stage 3 gun makes this saga worth it. Defroster was definitely worth it.

The attributes will be of particular interest. Hopefully, synergy or conduit will be added. Tomorrow will tell.

Finally made it back in the game 12 hrs. ago. Level 4 and 40 Supreme Packs behind. Took an hour of concentrated play and caching packs to catch up. Finished Stage 2 with 20 hrs. remaining. No compensation (yet). Going to need a Deputy or two in order to make it through Stage 3.

Well might be useful, but we'll see, I'm not holding out hope so far.

To me the weapon appears rather ordinary. Chronoboost may make it useful at times but it is hardly a game-changer. Headshot damage will be helpful for those Assassins that get in your face. Critical hits are nice but many SMs nowadays are immune to them.

The first parts upgrades are rather modest but then rapidly increase. Definitely going to need a Deputy.
