Alien Sky - Stranded - 3 Stage Event - 13/06/2023

Here we go again, 3 stage this time and at this point the sniper rifle in the event doesn't look special in any way, piercing rounds and +50% PvP.

Stay tuned and hope it's worth it...

The weapon does look to be remarkably weak. I didn't even notice what the SMs are at the end and since a Deputy is running the event won't be played until tomorrow. Hope they are worth the effort.

Have to agree with GWD on this one. I don't think the weapon is going to be anything useful, the gear having Head Enlarge means it is only good for PvP, and the Squadies, well GL just keeps putting Shite ones up..
I will have a look at Rd2 to see if it is worth while continuing with the event, but at this stage I doubt it.

Stage 2, nothing worth noting really, Hunter up to +75%, cash and gold +80%, big woop!

Stage 3 is going to have to be remarkable.

With only 1 upgrade done to stability this one wanders all over using full zoom, not good!

Agree on the stability issue. Both Stages 1 & 2 were impossible for headshots. My choice was to fully upgrade stability first to get some control.

The weapon itself better come up with some spectacular attributes at Stage 3 or it will be a dud.

Part drops in my game are similar except that the scope is under=represented. Similar on the globes - way over what is necessary. Plus, I get this once in a while (even after four restarts - and it doesn't do upgrades):

That first image I seen the other way around today, clicked to upgrade and it said it was using thousands of parts

Stage 2 done, and no surprises the gear and gun combo not worth a thing.

Roll on stage 3, and I think we're all hoping for a pleasant surprise, or this has been one waste of time and effort...

Indeed. But isn't this game just a waste of time and effort in the overall view of relevant things.

I'm seriously starting to think that way...

Stage 3, quite a few upgrades to the weapon, although whether it will make it useful or not is still to be seen.

The in-event performance of the Stage 3 weapon with the added attributes is impressive. How it performs in the "real" world of PVP will be the real measure. The damage rating doesn't appear to be very strong but maybe the extras will make a difference.

The weapon was tried in PVP since it is close to being fully upgraded. Quite a disappointment. Could kill nothing on my base.

Oh, well. Maybe GL will give it a major buffing at the end. That appears to be the only hope for something significant.

Due to GL's 'Fixing' of the drop rates, I am out of here on this event as the Squadies are pretty useless for Base Defence.
