Mirage / Single stage / 9-10-24

Post by GWD »

New event with a ridiculous weapon. Throw the book at them! Looks like a dud. Not enough power. It has to be zoomed or it covers a great bit of the screen.

The weapon actually has difficulty around pillars and walls. They tend to intercept the projectile even when the bogey is in the open. The shot takes a curved path that detonates off of nearby obstacles. It will be brutal when a sniper or RPG is close to cover.

Oddly, if the shot is close to the enemy it takes a quick turn and hit it directly.

I'm not familiar with a "Chaos Ring" but it pounds whatever it is. (?)

Don't know what GameLoft are thinking with this one, it's just strange and seems pointless...

Just noticed something interesting about the weapon. It actually works better if it is not zoomed. The spell (or whatever it is) travels more directly to the target for an easier kill. Just set the target in the middle of the screen and fire away. A mysterious hand tosses a fireball of some sort and it auto-targets the enemy. As Decker stated, "strange".

I'll try that, it's still a very weird (strange) weapon.

Another 'feature' if you want the shot to go to one side to the target to avoid buildings and the like aim to the opposite side, yes it's another one of those...

Yes, very odd behavior. I haven't mastered the skill of an accurate "curve ball" shot yet but after the event it likely will be a skill unused. Fortunately, the homing in on the target feature is handy just like Defroster sniper rifle.

This weapon doesn't seem to have any purpose beyond just this event. I'll give it a try in PVP but don't have high expectations.

The Defroster, is a point anywhere near a target and you will get a hit.
With this one you will need to gauge a left/right swing to hit the target.
I have found, 1x zoom and just to the edge of the sight (left or right) will give somewhat of a good chance of a hit.

Another waste of time, paired with an appropriate gearset it barely touches my base, at least I only used 3 packs to get this one early...

Oh, well. Playing with the "curveball" projectile was interesting. Time to put the spell-casting weapon away permanently.

Agree, struggles with a Basic Level 6* Base and Drones, Into the Closet for this one, yet another waste of time.
