Looks like GL have just given up with videos.
I am currently getting some dude with dyed hair and a goatie making sliders with a bun I have never heard of, an app that does not work in NZ, and a Mickey Dees. WTF
Not to mention that most of the 'WATCH AD' tabs give you nothing.

Like most of the game it's going down rapidly, the dude from what I can gather is a US food critic (greasy spoons and diners so not a real one), and a chuck and puke ad, so nothing targeted. Just lame money centric business as usual at GameLoft...

The "chef" is Guy Ferei, a fringe TV personality who appears in several food related ads on television as well as a show or two of his own. Not very highly regarded in the U.S. Obviously, will do anything for money.

RE: the videos. Has anybody figured out a fix for the videos being dysfunctional? GL certainly has not. Is uninstall/reinstall a solution? I despise doing that so hope that someone else gives it a try.

Like you I am reluctant to do a re-install if most of the game is working.
Looks like they made some changes last night as the Mirage weapon now appearing and not the Ghost version.
Still no changes to the video issue.

Not a peep about the video problem on Discord that I can find. I even posted a question about it and there have been no responses so far. That is why I thought maybe the issue was isolated to just a few players or that a solution had been found that the Discord members have applied. I'll go back and ask again after doing more research. You'd think Discord would be ablaze if it was a widespread matter.

Thanks for the research. I haven't gotten to my responsibility yet. Life sometimes gets in the way of play.

EDIT: Only a couple of posts out of hundreds mention the video problem. The description is the same as Kiwi stated earlier on here. Nothing at all from GL in response. I sent another message to the GL Community Manager to see if he has an explanation.

It seems that the SF players have become so used to bugs that they are accepted as normal occurrences to be ignored.

Well, just had an update come through, and yes, still SNAFU. So don't know what was fixed or F*%k#d

But it seems the Mickey D's, the Burger Dude, and the Medievil AD's have screwded the 'Watch Ad to Win' side of the game.

Also noticed this, the Commander States "Gold gained from any source by 100%" but it does not apply to Battle Packs. So it is not from 100% just what they want to give you.

Yep, no help with the update. I wrote another query on Discord after the update failed to improve the video situation. I need to hire 3 SMs from Clans to complete a section of Warlord Unlimited but can't power the reactor with a free video.
