Hallowed Eve 5/8/2025

Post by GWD »

Don't like the scenario. Don't like the weapon. Don't like the lacking weapon attributes. Thinking about not playing this type of exotic event for the first time since the inception of these.

Guess I'm just Mr. Negative today. But this event is going nowhere toward improving the game or the gaming experience. A pitiful effort by GL. The graphics of the weapon are unique, however.

Have to agree, the weapon is weak (3 shots to take out a Drone) and looks like it has nowhere to go. Will probably play through to try and recoup the chests I had to use in the last event, that is if I can get around the 40% Gold Drop Rate. No real effort going into this one.
Just a pity GL spent time on this rather than sorting out the video issues.

Got to agree, nothing about this one makes me want to complete the event, totally meh!
Turns out I wasn't just old and grumpy - I was right to be pissed right off!

Well first time in years I'm using spotters and slo-mo's, and it's a wanderer getting two shots in the one place isn't possible without re-aiming.

I gave up on this event days ago. Full clips to kill a goon is ridiculous. This weapon has to be treated as an assault rifle. And it can't stay on target as Decker points out.

I've a few thousand AP's and they seem to cut the shot requirement down by half.

Hmmm...interesting. Those AP bullets fulfill a task in Tier 7 of Battlepass. Might be worth a go after all.

In the best traditions of taking one for the team (and I'm away this week) completed and paired with a gearset, still rubbish. Will take a base drone out but any reasonably high SM it has no chance against. So finish if you don't open anything, can't see anything it would be useful for.
