They've done it again, either I'm going mad or the DPM values for a load of weapons has changed, including 3 stage event ones.

Well yesterday the two best loadouts failed to make a dent in a highish base. What next.

It may be that new PVP META feature mucking things up. Last period, Defroster got a sizable buff and did extra damage. This time, it gets a nerf...particularly in the critical hit area. The contrast with the two different levels is quite noticeable.

Last META period, the Defroster had a green "up" arrow, while this time it has a red "down" arrow. That could be an explanation for what you are experiencing.

Seen the meta changes but still seems to be struggling.

PvP meta strikes again, -50% damage on all weapons, what's the point?!?

The game point is simple: Drain players of their resources.

Even a simple base is difficult or impossible to destroy without using god-like, sleeping gas, or some other resource. Then in addition, if things go poorly, it takes slo-mos to finish off the base.

With resources depleted, players must buy more items to continue play with gold, rubies, cash, and eventually, REAL money. GL gets rich. That is the point of their existence. Long live capitalism.
