GL claims that the newest update has a cheater/hacker detection app that finds and sanctions such players. On Discord, they even post statistics about how effective it is.

However, Discord posters doubt that any of that is true while citing times after the update that they have experienced such things. Your experience is another example. (Unless you run all Assassins, and the player is using the one-shot Assassin badge.)

Again it's all just fluff, I'm not an all assassin base and I use the badge for PvP, so the so called update is just an other colossal fail...

Difficult to explain beyond cheating or hacking. Especially with "God-Like" in action. It could also have been a GL program error. Both Decker and I have had nearly immune shields show up in a defeat.

Were any of the SMs killed in one hit while others seemed immune to any damage?

Did time run out or did one of the SMs make a kill? Sometimes shields get a big boost from META...like the Elite. If the Assault is drawing fire then another SM might be able to do a kill (although God-Like should have taken the Assault and others out in one shot.)

Did the player's statistics show an overwhelming win-to-loss ratio? It might be worth reporting to GL.

It appears GL has a problem. Met the same player a short while ago and this time killed him in under 15sec with God Like.

Just a pain as the Win Streak reset screws up your Buffs for Warlord Undivided.

I think 'meta' is being abused by some as there has never been a proper explanation of just how it works.
