Here we go again, another assault and as always gives no real indication of the stage 3 weapon.
Turns out I wasn't just old and grumpy - I was right to be pissed right off!

Agreed. The Stage 1 weapon has an interesting start on attributes. Regardless, the Stage 3 weapon must have enough power to be effective. That hasn't happened in a while.
I've started a 9-day Commander + Deputy to win the 14* assortment of SMs.
The gear set also has some notable perks for assault weapons (+172%) and headshots (+172%). The Calibrated Scope feature usually jumps to headshots so there is a 344% bonus on a hit. Then there is the F-key that drops all shields and kills all drones. Not sure how long it lasts but it recharges in 15 seconds. If the Stage 3 weapon has Symbiosis, it might be interesting.
